When I got my telephoto lens, my mind swam with ideas of what subjects I could take pictures of in new ways with new detail. Military planes flying overhead are a semi-frequent occurrence in this area, which inspired m to search online for air force bases in the area and ended up on Naval Air Station Fallon. It was my first time really using the lens in the field so I had some trouble getting crystal clear images of the jets and the subjects were perhaps a bit ambitious for my 300mm zoom. Still it was a great experience.
